Court Report: Buckeyes last road game is set for 4 p.m. today at Assembly Hall in Bloomington

This afternoon, the No. 22/20 Ohio State Buckeyes head to Bloomington to take on Indiana. Tip-off at Assembly Hall is scheduled for 4:00 p.m. ET.

The Buckeyes and Hoosiers are meeting for the first and only time in the regular season. The last time these two teams met on the hardwood, No. 14 Ohio State defeated No. 2 Indiana, 67-58, at Assembly Hall in Bloomington on March 5, 2013. Deshaun Thomas finished with 18 points and eight rebounds, while Aaron Craft added 15 points, four rebounds, four assists and four steals.

TV and Radio:

The game will be televised on your local CBS affiliate with Ian Eagle and Jim Spanarkle . On your terrestrial radio dial, WBNS-FM 97.1 The Fan is the flagship station for the 56 outlets on the Ohio State IMG Sports Network. Paul Keels will call the play-by-play with analysis from Ron Stokes. The game can also be heard live via satellite on Sirius 91 and XM 91.

Buckeye Notes:

Ohio State is 22-7 overall and is tied for fourth in the Big Ten with a 9-7 mark. In the latest RPI rankings, the Buckeyes are No. 19 with a 4-4 record against teams in the RPI top 50, and are 11-5 against squads in the RPI top 100.

Junior forward LaQuinton Ross leads the team in scoring at 14.4 points per game while shooting 39.2 percent from beyond the arc. Senior guard Lenzelle Smith Jr. is second on the team in scoring at 11.6 points per outing. Senior point guard Aaron Craft is averaging 9.5 points, 4.6 assists and 2.5 steals per game. Junior center Amir Williams contributes 8.3 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 1.8 blocks per contest.

Hoosier Notes:

Indiana is 16-12 overall, sits in eighth place in the Big Ten at 6-9, and are ranked No. 88 in the RPI. The Hoosiers are 3-6 against teams in the RPI top 50, and are 5-8 against opponents in the RPI top 100. Indiana’s best win to date was a 75-72 victory over Wisconsin in Bloomington on Jan. 14.

After losing four out of the last five games, the Hoosiers defeated Iowa 93-86 on Thursday in Bloomington. Senior forward Will Sheehey scored a career-high 30 points, while sophomore guard Stanford Robinson and senior guard Evan Gordon came off the bench to score 17 and 12, respectfully.

The Hoosiers are led by sophomore guard Yogi Ferrell at 17.6 points per game, while freshman forward Noah Vonleh is second at 11.6 points, while pulling down a team-leading 9.1 rebounds a game.

Series History:

Indiana leads the all-time series with Ohio State 101-76. The Buckeyes are 24-61 at Indiana. The Buckeyes are 20-13 vs. the Hoosiers when ranked in the Associated Press Top 25 Poll. Thad Matta, now in his 10th season at Ohio State is 11-7 vs. the Hoosiers, including eight wins in the last 10 meetings, and is 4-4 at Assembly Hall as coach of the Buckeyes.
