Florida wide receiver Johnnie Dixon becomes Urban Meyer’s 19th verbal for the class of 2014

Head coach Urban Meyer and his staff claimed another recruiting victory for the class of 2014 as Johnnie Dixon pledged his allegiance to Buckeye Nation during an official announcement at his high school earlier today.

Dixon, a 5-foot-10, 187-pound wide receiver from Dwyer High School in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla, is rated a four-star recruit by all of the major websites. 247Sports.com lists Dixon as the 16th-best WR in the nation, while Rivals.com tabs him at No. 17 in the country.

Along with Ohio State, Dixon had more than 20 offers and choose the Buckeyes over Alabama and Miami (Fla.).
