The Buckeyes enter tonight’s non-conference match-up with a 4-0 overall record with wins over Morgan State (89-50), Ohio (79-69), at then-No. 17 Marquette (52-35), and against American University (63-52).

In Ohio State’s last game against American University on Dec. 20 at Value City Arena in Columbus, two starters notched double figures in points led by junior center Amir Williams, who scored a career-high 16 on 6-of-9 shooting from the floor, and junior guard Shannon Scott, who added 13 points on 5-of-10 shooting, pulled down a team-high nine rebounds and dished out four assists.

Wyoming is 4-1 overall with wins over Tennessee-Martin (78-60), Arkansas State (85-64), Jackson State (73-65), and South Dakota (70-53). The Cowboys’ lone loss of the season was to Colorado (63-58) on Nov. 13 in Boulder.

In Wyoming’s last game on Nov. 22, Riley Grabau scored a career-high 20 points and Derek Cooke Jr. notched his second career double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds to carry the Cowboys to a 70-53 win over South Dakota last Friday.

This will be the fourth meeting between Ohio State and Wyoming. The Buckeyes are 2-1 all-time against the Cowboys. The last time these two teams met on the hardwood was on Dec. 29, 1995 at the Casper Events Center in Casper, Wyo., as the Cowboys won 73-67. Wyoming was led by LaDrell Whitehead who scored 20 points. Damon Stringer scored 19 to pace Ohio State.
