Following Ohio State’s 40-30 win over Northwestern on Saturday, the Buckeyes are still holding steady in the both top 25 college football polls that were released earlier today.
For the fifth consecutive week, Ohio State is ranked fourth in the Associated Press and third in the USA Today college football polls.
In the AP poll, Alabama is still No. 1 as the Crimson Tide received 55 of the 60 first-place votes, while Oregon is second with the other five first-place votes. Rounding out the top 10 in the AP poll is No. 3 Clemson followed by Ohio State, Stanford, Florida State, Georgia, Louisville, Texas A&M and LSU.
In the USA Today coaches poll, Alabama also remains at the top with 57 of the 62 first-place votes. Oregon is No. 2 with two first-place votes. Rounding out the top 10 in the coaches poll, Ohio State is third then it’s Clemson (with one first-place vote), Stanford, Florida State, Georgia, Louisville, Texas A&M and Oklahoma.
Ohio State’s next game is Oct. 19 as the Buckeyes host Iowa (4-2, 1-1 Big Ten). Kickoff at Ohio Stadium is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. ET, and it will be televised on you local ABC affiliate.
