Granted, USC was using backup offensive players on their last real drive in the fourth quarter, but Ohio State's defense yielded 28 points, 348 yards of total offense, with 184 of those were passing. Which is not a lot. The biggest problems were on the offensive side of the ball. And that pick-six that Boeckman threw really hurt. You can beat teams giving up 28 points, but you are never going to beat anybody scoring 3. Just based on stats alone, the defense really didn’t play that bad against USC.

You gave our Defense a C+? Man that is generous. Now please understand I have not been able to watch all of our games. However, The 3 that I have (Youngstown St., USC, and Wisconsin) I believe the Defense deserves no better than a D- at best. Yest they look good against Youngstown State, but I think that my highschool could have done an ok job vs. them. USC ran all over us and at times Wisconsin seemed to march down the field like they were playing a JV team. We have returned to many starters to be playing this poorly! Then our Offense looks like a bunch of freaking 7th graders out there running around not knowing what is going on. Our O line is to Fat and Slow for Prior. To lazy to get the job done in the long run. I keep asking myself why we are not moving up in the Polls, but then I take a look at how we play. I mean if we play BYU, UTAH, Or Boise St. We are going to lose. If we play USC again we are going to get killed. AGAIN. If we play an SEC team. Well look at the last two National Title Games and you have your answer. In two years OSU has been the laughing stock of College Football. I mean we need need to clean house. This was to be our year. And the way it looks we are going to have another disapointment at the end of the year. I know that people are going to get pissed off at me for saying this but I am tired of petering out at the end of the year. I dont care about the Cooper years or the Woody Hayes years. They are over with! We were awesome under Woody and sucked with Cooper. What do we say about the so called Lord Tresell years? 1 and 3 is ok, but not for this day and age of college sports. We should not have even won the 2003 game. If that ref didn't call that pass interfearance we would be 0 and 3 in National Titles. Im tired of coming up with excuse after excuse about why we suck vs the SEC and USC. The Big 10 is week and we are going to get played as long as we ie. OSU loses to these big schools. In 3 weeks we play PSU, and well even though they have never beat OSU at the Shoe. Well I think if we play with C+ D and C- O we are going to get killed by 52 points or more! Wow.
